Bakhmaro is a village in Guria and a mountain resort. It is surrounded by dense forests and alpine meadows. In the summer, you can enjoy the green pastures and blooming meadows here, and in the winter, the resort transforms into a snowy fairy tale. This is our favorite place in Georgia. It’s stunningly beautiful here!

In winter, the village is almost deserted, but with the arrival of warmer weather and the tourist season, its population increases significantly thanks to local residents on vacation, shepherds, and travelers.

A mild and moderate climate with plenty of sunny days makes Bachmaro an attractive destination in both summer and winter. In summer, temperatures rarely rise above 20–25 degrees Celsius, making it an excellent place to escape the city heat.
At night, even in summer, temperatures can drop below 5 degrees Celsius. Therefore, be sure to pack warm clothing and sleeping bags rated for the expected temperatures. Also, check the weather forecast.
It's very quiet in Bakhmaro. It's a great place for anyone looking for a peaceful and picturesque getaway in the mountains, far from the hustle and bustle of big cities.

Phytoncides from coniferous forests: The coniferous forests surrounding the resort release phytoncides—biologically active substances with antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Breathing in air rich in phytoncides helps strengthen the immune system and improve respiratory function.

What should I bring?
Water : There is a spring on the highway leading to Bakhmaro. There are few springs in the village itself, and they dry up in the summer.
Food In the summer, there is a market and one store in the village, but it’s best not to rely on them and to bring everything with you
Sturdy, non-slip footwear and warm clothing if you’re staying overnight
