Green Route
We went in January; there was an unusually heavy snowfall. And in April
Lighter. This shot offers a view from a distance and slightly from below.
This is a marked trail that’s 3.8 km long if you start at the beginning of the dirt road. The elevation gain is quite small—130 meters. You can drive closer, which will cut the distance in half.
Starting point: 42.542019, 42.869519
For those who are a bit more experienced—though it’s still not particularly difficult and, in our opinion, more interesting. You’ll climb one of the rocks themselves.
For safety reasons, we recommend going there only in good weather. There are crevices and holes in the rocks at the top, and when it rains, the rocks crumble.
There are fallen trees lying across the trail in several places. This makes the route feel more rugged and interactive. So if you feel like scrambling a bit—great; if not—go with the first route.
4.7 km and 280 m of elevation gain.
