*Procedure for Applying the Rules for Distance Sales

This section applies to sales contracts concluded remotely, including through an online store, website, social media, messaging apps, email, or by phone, without the seller and buyer being physically present at the same time.
The method of receiving the goods does not affect the status of the distance sale. If the contract was concluded remotely, the buyer’s right to cancel the contract remains in effect regardless of whether the goods were delivered by a courier service, a postal operator, or picked up by the buyer in person (self-pickup).
If a customer visited a store, examined the product, received advice from a salesperson, and decided to make a purchase directly at the store, such a purchase is not considered a distance sale, even if the subsequent order placement or payment was made using means of distance communication.
3. Exceptions
Returns and exchanges do not apply to:
  • goods custom-made to the customer's specifications;
  • items that show signs of use;
  • goods that have lost their marketable appearance, consumer properties, factory labels, or original packaging;
