Evening Star-Gazing: The Quadrantid Meteor Shower

We’re heading out to watch the peak of the Quadrantid meteor shower, one of the largest showers of the year. We’re expecting about 100 meteors per hour.
And also
—we’ll build a campfire, observe the planets through a telescope, and learn how to navigate the night sky.
There will be good company and a guided tour led by a naturalist.
Program
departure
We leave Batumi around 5 p.m. We arrive at a mountain near Batumi at dusk, build a campfire, gaze at the sky, make hot dogs, drink hot cocoa, and chat.
A Tour of the Sky
Our naturalist, Alina, will lead a tour of the starry sky and tell us about constellations and meteor showers. And Artem will show us the planets through a telescope.
We’ll lie down, look up at the sky, and count the shooting stars.

Important! Make sure to have your wishes ready in advance—shooting stars pass by quickly, so you’ll need to make your wish in time)))
