Use and Storage

Choose a sleeping bag with a margin above the expected nighttime temperature. The specified range is a guideline: how warm you feel depends on your sleeping pad, clothing, humidity, and your individual sensitivity to the cold. Before going to sleep, fluff out the sleeping bag so the down regains its volume. Keep it dry; after use, let it air dry and store it fully fluffed out; compress it into its stuff sack for transport.
