The SUP board is manufactured using MSL technology from high-density polyvinyl chloride—a wear-resistant and non-flammable material. This technology involves fusing the materials together under high temperature and pressure rather than gluing them. The result is a multilayer construction. The board’s surface features reinforced edges and a non-slip EVA coating. On the bottom, near the tail, there are mounting points for a key component of the SUP board—three small fins. The fins won’t break upon impact with an obstacle. They’re made of flexible material and equipped with fasteners that prevent them from coming loose.
Optimal stiffness.
The Koi inflatable SUP board is inflated through a swivel-lock valve. When closed, it prevents air from escaping and keeps the SUP board from deflating. You can fully inflate the board in 5 minutes using the pump included in the kit to a pressure of 12–15 PSI, which is more than enough for any skill level.
Practical design.
The bow of the Feath-R-Lite Koi SUP features a system of four D-rings through which a cord is threaded in a crisscross pattern, forming a sort of cargo net for carrying gear. You can safely place a bag or backpack on the large SUP board. A sturdy handle is located in the middle; holding onto it makes it easy to climb onto the SUP or carry it to the water. And at the stern, there is a ring for attaching a safety line.
